Hi! I'm really happy to see all of you! I know that's rather strange, I mean, speaking English in this place and at that time.
However, this is can be a real fun. This is first. Secondly, it can be a good opportunity to practise English. Why not?
I also believe we need a specail section in this forum for maintainting correspondence in English as well. I'm sure that it will be of great interest to foreigners, too. Anyway, I'd like to try and then we'll see...
Let's get to know each other better. We can write about different things: personal interests, plans, ideas, impressions, religion, Orthodoxy etc.

A Real Story.

I would like to tell you one astonishing story, that happened three years ago. It was summer and I, as usual, was in the country. There were my close relations and our dog and cat. Everybody who has ever had a dog or cat know that it is very regrettable to lose a pet, but... we lost our cat. She (it was a pussy cat) went in the garden and disappeared. She lived with us for six years and all of us loved her, she was a wonderful cat. We called her but we understood soon that she wouldn't come back.
...August. I had some work in Moscow, but I settled everything and went to our country. Two hours in a train, half an hour from the railway station to our house, and I am at home! Unfortonately it was toooooo(!) hot day, and the worst of all was the fact that between the platform and our house was a large field without any shadow!
Not far from the railway station I saw a kitten. I didn't pay attention to him, but when I turned I saw he was following me. So, I went more quickly. The kitten continued following me. Then I tried to turn him away. Useless. Thus, we crossed the field and came into the garden. Everybody was puzzled, because, after our cat had lost, we had a lot of doubts about a new kitten. But he was too nice, like a kitten of lynx, and too little (he was about three weeks old)...! We couldn't understand, how such a little and thin kitten had been able to run too quickly about half an hour, under the burning hot sun... I gave him some food and went shopping ( we needed some bread).
When I came back the kitten was absent... Our dog noticed him and threw out. The kitten ran away, and nobody knew where he was.
When we had supper, we were talking about the kitten. Suddenly my uncle told us one interesting fact. He said that when our pet had disappeared (it had happened about two-three weeks ago) he had prayed God to return her if it possible or to settle the matter as He want. So, we understood that the kitten was sent us by God.
Next morning I and my sister decided to find the kitten. Of course, it was very silly,because there are a lot of neighbouring gardens, besides there is a large forest near our garden, and the kitten could be very far from us. But we were sure that we would find him... And... we found him in a ten minutes!!!
Now he is three years old. His name is Farsik.He is very funny, kind and clever cat! Here are some photos:
